The Simulation Football League's Off-season is in full effect. A bevy of changes have occurred so far: Players retiring, teams folding or moving/changing their branding, front office changes. Something's in the air in Los Angeles, as well. Since the team's inception into the SFL, the Lycans have a record of 36-72 (9-25 Pacific/West Division). LA finished Season 24 with a depressing 2-10 record. They've only made the SFL Playoffs in Seasons 16 and 17 under the watchful eyes of Co-Owners Tom Ramen and Rachelle Colston. Every season, fans across the SFL landscape have been disappointed in LA's promises of prosperity; only for those promises to fall flat on their faces. Indeed, something's in the air around the Los Angeles' organization.

After 9 seasons of navigating the franchise, Rachelle Colston has sold her stake in the team. The new ownership group (consisting of Majority Owner Sully Richardson and Minority Owners Brogan Speraw and Ace Blackwell) will lead the Lycans going into Season 25 (which happens to be LA's 10th Season in the league).
"This is a joyous; yet, bittersweet occasion for me," said Mrs. Colston on the sell of the team. "I want to see this team prosper and I believe it's in capable hands with the new owners. They can mold this team in their own image."
A Look Inside the Throne Room
With the exciting changes happening within LA's organization, Lycans News took a visit to Lycans HQ to sit down with the new ownership group and front office staff:
Lycans News: "Congrats on this very historic moment in Lycans history! With Rachelle Colston moving on to greener pastures, what's your opinion of her? What impact or legacy has she left?"
Sully Richardson: "Rae has the biggest heart! She wants everyone to be successful in life and does anything in her power to help. She's my sister and life-long friend. I cannot thank her enough for everything she's done for me, this team, and the league."
Brogan Speraw: "I'd like to encourage Rachelle to do whatever feels right. I'd love to have her stay in some capacity. At the end of the day, I just want her to be happy like everyone associated with the Lycans."
Ace Blackwell: "Rae gave me a chance when I was fresh in the league. She gave the Blackwell family a chance. Loyalty goes a long way for me. I'm forever grateful to know her and I can honestly say the values she helped instill will live on."
(New Assistant General Manager Daricus Iniguez joins the meeting and is asked the same question.)
Daricus Iniguez: "Rachelle Colston's leadership laid the foundation for everything we've built. Forever thankful for what she's provided for us."

Lycans News: "What's the collective feeling right now? How does it feel to be part of this new ownership group?"
Ace Blackwell: "I've been in this group for awhile now. It's a great feeling. With Sully becoming the Majority Owner and Brogan being added into the room, I believe we can continue to build and grow this team. It's similar to adding a creative mind into a growing engineering company."
Brogan Speraw: "It's a great honor. I'm very proud to be here. In many ways it just feels natural; but in other ways I still cannot believe it's real."
Sully Richardson: "This has been in the making for some time now. My objective was to win for our team and for Rae. Our team is comprised of people who care more about each other's well-being than wins or losses. On the flipside, no one likes to watch a floundering product. Our goals are all the same as before: We want to build a successful team but twist the nob to a thousand."
Lycans News: "New Ownership Group. We know Re-signings are happening soon and Free Agency will happen as well. Capable people are needed to 'pick the groceries'. What are your thoughts on your GM and Asst. GM. To GM/Asst. GM: What is your vision for Los Angeles?"
Sully Richardson: "I knew of Brogan's work from other organizations. I wish we would've asked him to fill the GM role earlier. He's the type of person who has a keen eye for talent, he's straightforward, and he knows what he wants. Iniguez is a man of the people. He's a hard worker and he cares for his fellow man. I believe both of them will affect our team in a very positive manner."
Ace Blackwell: "To add on to Sully's comments, both of these guys will help build and grow our game. They love being Lycans, they want to bring success to this organization, and they want to bring in individuals who see excellence in our team and want to add to said excellence."
Daricus Iniguez: "Brogan's approach to being a GM is smart, focused, and very collaborative. He's someone who listens, evaluates, and takes decisive action. As Assistant GM, my role is to support his vision while also bringing my own insights to the table."
Brogan Speraw: "My vision for LA is to be the Showtime Lakers of the SFL. I want to win rings and have fun doing so. With Iniguez's expertise, we can bounce ideas off each other. Communication is key when putting a team together. He has a sixth sense for individuals who enter the league. I believe he's a valuable asset to our front office."
Lycans News: "Thank you all for your time! Last question: What's the vision for the Los Angeles Lycans as you embark on this new era?"
Sully Richardson: "It's simple. Change the Narrative. We've been down so long that it just seems normal. It should not shock you as an individual or an organization when a little success comes your way. We want to taste success on a regular basis. Rachelle is one hell of a worker. She works nonstop. This organization will take that work ethic and incorporate new-age tactics to it. Sometimes you have to adjust your nutrition and alter your workout regiment in order to see gains. We expect to see positive gains from here on out with the changes we've made."
