Week 4 saw LA's offense completely fizzle out against the Scorpions in Phoenix. Arizona put up 28 second half points and clobbered LA 52-17. "We did not get the job done tonight," HB Daricus Iniguez said after the game. "We have to find ways to keep drives going."

Pros

  • Both wide receivers Chris Lee (12 receptions for 174 yards) and Bubba Tree (2 receptions for 34 yards) had receiving touchdowns on the day. With 26 seconds left before halftime, Richardson connected with Lee for a 67 yard touchdown and putting Los Angeles within a touchdown of Arizona.

Cons

  • As said before, Arizona put up 28 points in the second half. Four different Scorpions had receiving touchdowns.

  • Sully Richardson threw 4 interceptions and was sacked once.

Great White North

The Lycans are now 1-2 (0-1 West) going into their Week 5 West Division matchup against the undefeated Vancouver Legion. The Legion are ranked number one in the SFL and in the West Division. "The Legion have always been difficult to deal with," said WR Elzie Pryor after a recent practice. Since their days as the Chicago Wildcats, the Lycans have only won twice out of twelve meetings against the Legion. Meeting 13 starts tonight at the Delta Flare Dome! Game time is 9:15pm ET/6:15pm PT only on Virtual Football Network's YouTube channel.
