New beginnings are on the horizon for all 23 teams of the Simulation Football League. The Lycans of Los Angeles have an extreme need to better themselves in Season 25. "We've done all we can do in order to better our fortunes," Co-Minority Owner Ace Blackwell said at a recent press conference. "It's up to our players to execute the game plan." LA's first hurdle will be a Week 1 visit to Charleston to face a new-look Predators team.

With the SFL is celebrating 25 seasons and the Los Angeles Lycans are celebrating 10 season, it is vital for Los Angeles to get on-track in Week 1. Saying you're turning the page is one thing. Actions speak louder than words. Just like LA, the Predators are ready to make waves this season. "Charleston finished 4th in a tough East Division," said OLB Greg Ward. "They want to better themselves just like we do."

Their defense showcases former Atlanta Swarm FS Grant Hardaway, while their offense has former Scorpion and WR-turned-HB Yayo Montana and former Los Angeles HB Patrick Rudlang. Both teams will go into this weekend's contest attempting to figure each other's game plans out. HB Daricus Iniguez likes the mindset of going in blind. "It's a fresh start for all the SFL. You don't know what to expect and you cannot go off of last season's actions. That's what makes things interesting to all of us. We just put in the hard work, and hopefully that hard work is showcased this Saturday." With the re-signing of prior season's players and the additions of newer players, the Charleston Predators should be a menace this season.

Three new additions to the Charleston Predators will look to improve on the team's fortunes this season.
Grant Hardaway, Yayo Montana, and Patrick Rudlang will demonstrate their talents as the newest off-season recruits for the Charleston Predators.

Both team's could put on a running clinic in Week 1 with strong backfields. WRs and TEs should get in on the action as well; however, defenses on both sides will not roll over so easily. "We've got to get on the good foot. We cannot start this season off slow," TE Adam Grabowski said after practice. "We've worked extremely hard to turn the page. It's time for a new chapter to be written."
