An "Ace" In The Hole

Updated: Aug 23, 2021

The 9th of August brought an abrupt change to the Lycans coaching staff. Los Angeles decided to make an "offensive" maneuver on their defense. In a shocking move, LA released elite DE James Richards. With much vigilance; however, the Lycans found their guy.

On August 12th, the Los Angeles Lycans welcomed DE Ace Blackwell to the organization. "He's got the type of personality that fits our organization," said Co-Owner Rachelle Colston. "We can't wait to see him grow in this league."

After a brief tour of Full Moon Coliseum, we sat down with Mr. Blackwell to ask him a few questions.

LAL: "First of all, welcome to Los Angeles! What would you like to say to the Lycans Ownership Group?"

Blackwell: "I'd like to say thank you (Co-Owners Rachelle Colston, Tom Ramen, and Minority Owner Sully Richardson) for the opportunity. I plan to make the best of every second and do whatever I can to contribute."

LAL: "Please tell us a little about yourself. Who is Ace Blackwell?"

Blackwell: "I'm an avid sports fan: From football to wrestling. I'm also a gamer. I enjoy good food and cooking."

LAL: "How did you find out about the SFL?"

Blackwell: "I found the SFL through some family in nighthawks24's stream of NPWN wrestling. They told me how much fun it is and encouraged me to join. Without them I wouldn't be here."

LAL: "Thanks to your family and nighthawks24 for that!! How does it feel to be a Lycan?"

Blackwell: "It feels like home. I've already found it to be an amazing group of people who I look forward to getting to know more and going to war on the field with."

LAL: "What are your goals for this season?"

Blackwell: "My goals are to become the best teammate and player I can be. Also to contribute as much as I can to our success."

LAL: "Before we let you go, is there anything you'd like to tell Los Angeles fans?"

Blackwell: "I hope you're ready. We're about to go for a ride you won't forget. Proud to be in LA and proud to be a Lycan!"

With a fiery desire, Blackwell looks to disturb offenses across the SFL.
